Hi! I’m Francesca Endres, a New York City based Stage Manager and performer. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, I moved to New York City in 2016 to study musical theatre & stage management at Marymount Manhattan College. I can currently be found stage managing the resident and touring productions of Pinkalicious & the Wizard of Oz with Vital Theatre Company. In addition to musicals, I love to stage manage dance concerts and am in my 4th season with Woman in Motion. While I started out as a performer, I was always interested in all parts of the process. I began by helping out with props, costumes, and backstage duties when I was young and worked my way up to stage managing various events & shows in middle school and high school. I continued this passion through college and into the professional world, where I learned my biggest asset as a stage manager is my understanding of performers because I’ve been in their place. It makes it easier for me to relate to performers and give them what they need from me because I know what I want to know when I’m in their shoes. The performance becomes more of a collaboration between the actors and I than just viewing me as the person in charge. As I continue my career, I hope that my work as a performer and stage manager can coexist and I can continue to explore all of the parts I enjoy in the industry.
